Praying the Rosary

The Holy Rosary is a beautiful prayer which centres our thoughts on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This prayer has been prayed by many Catholics down through the ages. It is part of our spiritual Heritage and above all steeped in the Scriptures which lift the mind, heart and life of the person praying this prayer to the possibilities of an outpouring of Grace from God the Father, Non Catholics sometimes confuse the Rosary with prayers to Mary the Mother of God. They may say that Catholics are praying to Mary through the Holy Rosary. This, however, is not so, through the Holy Rosary we are meditating upon the actions of Christ and what God has done for each one of us, even to Mary. If anything, the Holy Rosary, is a prayer said with, not to, Our Heavenly Mother.

We have put together the Joyful Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary for you to listen to and pray along with us. Feel free to copy this Rosary music file to a CD and listen to it whilst you're driving- even praying as you go to work, or shopping, or picking the children up from school.

These files can also be downloaded to your music player, ipad or mobile phone so that these prayers are always with you to help you pray the Holy Rosary.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them.
